“What a wonderful experience with the BEST food and impeccable service. We came for lunch and had the birria tacos - and it’s a must to add the rice and beans because they were fabulous. Presentation and temperature were perfect - so much flavor in the meat. Portion sizes are generous and the menu is expansive with options for everyone. We didn’t dine with kiddos but will be back with them because the restaurant is very kid friendly. I can’t wait to return and try the rest of the menu.”

“This place is a wonderfully refreshing retreat to fill your belly. The food was delicious. The service was excellent. The atmosphere was inviting and relaxing while you enjoyed your meal. Juan was awesome as he made sure you were enjoying your meal and your needs were met. Please give this place a try. What we ordered: the pork tacos-yum, the chicken tinga enchilada - great, roasted onions cute delicious beauties, the house margarita was lovely, and chicken tamal. Looking forward to the next visit.”

“Amazing authentic Mexican food. We visited after hearing about the margaritas, and those definitely delivered. The jalapeño spicy marg was delicious. Everything we ate was tasty, the tuna appetizer, guacamole, snapper tacos, all of the salsas. Really friendly staff too and nice design inside.”

“The restaurant was so aesthetically appealing. The attention to detail was exceptional. I appreciate the restaurant staying true to the authenticity and integrity of Mexican cuisine. I have eating restrictions and food sensitivities and the kitchen accommodated me with the most delicious spread along with sampling of their tortilla types. They had friends and family deals on margaritas which was top tier/shelf. I will definitely be back with friends.”

“A real sleeper . . . The service was excellent, and the food was very good. Stopped by for lunch and the guacamole and chips. The house made chips were very good! We both had completa, one steak, one carnitas. The meat was seasoned perfectly and both selections were very tasty. Alexa was very informative and attentive. Put it on your list!”

“After reading the other reviews, my husband and I tried Palanco last night. It was VERY good! I ordered the marinated chicken (so good, and loved the baked cheese!). My husband ordered the quesadilla which was FILLED with pork! Sauces are all freshly made and very good. We met one of the owners, and he was very personable and welcoming. They really pay attention to detail. We will be back!”

“This place is far from the ordinary Mexican restaurant around Sandy Springs. It’s tucked into the strip at Fountain Oaks, near Kroger, and it’s a 5 star joint. Fresh, different, and authentic, this place is our new go to over Bartaco. The skinny marg was pretty and delicious, and don’t miss any of the salsa offerings, especially the diablo. We all had tacos and they were divine, especially when accompanied by the smoky beans and rice. The fresh blue corn chips - oh my! Everything was amazing and you must try it.”

“Had the best time for dinner with my girls. Alexandra was the best. She gave great recommendations. We had flautas for appetizer and they were divine. I had the tampiquena for dinner and it was cooked perfectly. My bestie had a birria and a carne assda taco and she loved those as well. Alexandra was also very accommodating since we don’t like tequila and altered a drink to substitute for vodka. 10/10 experience”
